Over the years saunas have become more and more popular. At Be Whole Wellness Center, we have a Sunlighten Infrared Sauna for you to come and use! Infrared saunas electric or infrared light to create radiant heat waves (temperature around ~100-170 degrees) which are absorbed by the skin and penetrate 1-2 inches into the body. You can always start at a lower temperature, time in the sauna, and times per week that you’re in the sauna then slowly work your way up. Listen to your body and try not to push it too hard if it isn’t ready for more heat or time.
